Design House Stockholm Knot Cushion, M, Forest Green

Design House Stockholm’s lovely Knot M cushion was designed by Ragnheiður Ösp Sigurðardóttir. Made of a stuffed wool tube, several meters in length, the M Knot is a slightly larger version of the traditional Knot cushion: it questions traditional seat cushions and is a delight not only on its own but also next to a sofa.

In 2011, the Icelandic designer was looking for a more efficient way to manufacture the long legs of her crocheted teddy bears and started experimenting with machine-made knits. She ended up with a collection of knot-like cushions called Notknot, and Design House Stockholm launched one of the designs under the name Knot.
