HAY Bernard Lounge Chair, Black Oak – Black Canvas

The union of two contrary elements gives the chair a distinctive, lively appearance. Designed by Shane Scheck, Bernard is a fresh and contemporary lounge chair for multiple environments. The relaxed yet upright design of the chair looks great by any coffee table as well as in the corner of the bedroom, and it can also be used in pairs or groups.

In 2021, HAY renewed the surface treatments of its wood furniture by replacing the paints and lacquers with more environmentally friendly, water-based alternatives. This chair is of newer production and has been finished with a water-based lacquer.
