Menuâs Nimbus table mirror, designed by KrĂžyer-SĂŠtter-Lassen, was created based on the Danish design duoâs idea of a framed mirror whose frame would not distract from the mirror itself. The simple and beautiful Nimbus is surrounded by a delicate, halo-like brass frame attached to the sleek base with hinges. The mirrorâs name, Nimbus, was inspired by Greek mythology: the word nimbus referred to the glowing halo or corona surrounding deities.
Loving the form but looking for function? Nimbus has both: it has a regular mirror on one side and a magnifying mirror on the other, so you needn’t squint when shaving or applying makeup.

| Care instructions | Frame: Use a soft dry cloth to clean. Do not use any cleaners with chemicals or harsh abrasives. Avoid using water. Do not polish; the polished brass surface has been lacquered, so any polishing will remove the lacquer and open up for natural oxidation. Mirror: Use a soft cloth with warm water. Dry straight away. For a more efficient clean, use commercial glass cleaners; do not spray the cleaner directly on the mirror. |
