Metsovaara Helmiäinen Mohair Throw

The Helmiäinen throw by Metsovaara boasts an ocean-inspired colour scheme that is sure to catch the eye. The checkered pattern features hues of green, brown and grey as well as abalone – a cool white with purple undertones. Originally designed in the 1960s, the throw is decorated with the signature Metsovaara fringes. 

Made in South Africa, the throw is produced of a combination of soft mohair yarn and wool using slow-speed power looms that give it a premium, almost hand-crafted aesthetic.
