The Pause counter chair from Woud, with its simple wooden structure and elegant joints, is the embodiment of modern Nordic design. Finnish designer Kasper Nyman has created the Danish brand a beautiful oak chair that features clean lines and a broad, rectangular backrest. Pause is made of solid oak and oak veneer and available in white-pigmented lacquer and colourful painted finishes. The timeless design of Pause bar stool pairs easily with both, modern and more traditional kitchen counters and bar tables.

In 2019, the original design was enhanced by adding a bit of metal to the footrest, resulting in Pause 2.0.
